  Biography of David Llewelyn Samuels

David Llewelyn Samuels brings over 25 years of professional experience in senior leadership, strategy development, and organizational development to his executive coaching and leadership development business. In his last leadership position at the largest utility company in California, his expertise in the areas of leadership and culture allowed him to craft his own position. David is a native of London, England where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Surrey. He has completed significant post-graduate work in Organizational Psychology and Leadership Development at London Business School, and has earned certificates in leadership coaching and emotional intelligence training. He is currently consulting and coaching in both for-profit and non-profit industries, higher-education, and religious institutions. In addition, he is TEDx speaking coach, a keynote speaker at conferences, mediation and conflict resolution expert, and workshop facilitator.

  Biography of Tiffany David



Experienced entrepreneur and culture enthusiast, Tiffany brings decades of practical HR to organizations that want to do more than survive the legal landscape. As a senior leader, Tiffany has developed processes and policies for California, multi-state and global organizations to optimize their workforce and thrive in today’s markets.  As Founder and Principal of Total People Management, Tiffany consults with owners and leaders to truly understand the challenges before the business. She believes that People are the lifeblood of any organization and has a knack for finding beneficial solutions for all involved parties. In San Diego, Tiffany is helping to fix the world of work by founding the first global DisruptHR movement in our fine city as well as chairing R-evolution@Work Events and Workshops for local organizations.

  Biography of David Berry

David Berry has been coaching and teaching executive leaders since 2001. He got started in the world of professional training and development by leading programs for BlessingWhite, Inc.  David joined TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company where he became the company’s first Vice President for Leadership and Organizational Development. In 2013, David founded RULE13 Learning, LLC to serve leaders who want to build more resilient, effective and change-ready organizations. In 2016, David published his first book, A More Daring Life: Finding Voice at the Crossroads of Change. David joined the faculty of California State University San Marcos as a lecturer in the College of Business Administration, teaching courses in entrepreneurship, innovation and organizational behavior. David’s professional contributions have been featured in the Training Magazine article, “Crafting a Coaching Culture” and he is a past contributor to the International Journal of Coaching in Organizations, an article from which is featured in The Completely Revised Handbook of Coaching(Jossey-Bass, 2012). David holds certifications from the Hudson Institute of Coaching and the Institute for Conversational Leadership.

  Biography of Kim Folsom 

Kim Folsom is the founder of LIFT Development Enterprises, Inc. and co-founder and CEO of Founders First Capital Partners, LLC, a small business growth accelerator, the first online community for fueling small business expansion and the only women-led, revenue-based venture fund focused on helping underserved, employer-based micro small businesses ($50K to $2M), secure funding, achieve exponential growth and create premium wage jobs.

As a social entrepreneur, Ms. Folsom is dedicated to leveraging the power of market forces and sound business practices to address disparities in revenue and job growth among businesses led by underrepresented founders. She has raised more than $30 million in institutional venture financing, and has founded or served as a key executive for multiple successful ventures, including showUhow (acquired by Sellpoints), DriveCam (now Lytx) and Seminarsource. Before devoting her energies to entrepreneurship, Ms. Folsom was an executive at National Dispatch Center, Luce Forward, Alltel Systematics and Great American First.  As part of her mission to help entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses, Ms. Folsom teaches as an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship and business strategy at National University School of Business and Management. She earned her MBA from the University of Pepperdine and a BS in information systems with minor coursework in economics from San Diego State University.

Biography of Rob Lewis

Rob is an internationally recognized thought leader in organizational culture and employee engagement with experience presenting in Russia, Spain, and throughout the United States. Rob is passionate about inspiring business leaders to realize the upside potential of investing in the success of their people.  Rob is currently a general manager for Chuze Fitness, and has over 15 years of experience in the health club industry. He has also been a founding member and operator of several startup companies within the health, fitness and nutrition industries.  Rob earned his Master of Science in exercise physiology and nutrition from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He has also had the privilege of being mentored by former UCLA business school professor, and one of the pioneers in employee engagement and organizational culture, Dr. Manek S. Wadia. He currently resides in San Diego, CA with his wife and three children.

  Biography of Rúna Bouius 

Awakening leaders to embody their true power is what Rúna excels at. The former CEO and serial entrepreneur from trendy Iceland was known as a trailblazer in her home country, introducing her industry to many innovative services and practices  — just as, unbeknownst to her at the time, Rúna was an early, avid, and pioneering practitioner of many of the Conscious Business principles taking flight today.  After selling her businesses and relocating to the U.S. Rúna immersing herself in Conscious Leadership training in various disciplines such as psychology, wisdom traditions, awareness and mindfulness practices, and direct teachings from Nature.  For well over a decade Rúna has been on the vanguard of the new business paradigm thinking, the creation of better workplaces and growing the bold and visionary next generation leaders. She has inspired and ignited action in thousands of leaders around the globe through her speaking, writing, consulting, and facilitation and through the social-impact platforms she co-founded in Los Angeles — the Conscious Leader Network, the Conscious Capitalism Los Angeles Chapter, and the Together! Network. Rúna’s clients include PwC, Aruba, LRW in Los Angeles, and the famous Blue Lagoon, Iceland. Some of the topics she speaks on are Triple Bottom Line Plus, 7 Simple Ways of Kindness in the Workplace, Emotional Intelligence, Ego, Leading Yourself Through Change & Transition, and Turning Toxic Ego Behavior into Personal Power.
