We're excited to host our next PURPOSE San Diego breakfast club event on the 21st of February, from 7:30 - 9:15 am at UC San Diego Extension. The focus of each meeting will be on you, the participant. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other business leaders to use your collective business skills to improve the lives of others.
Each month we bring in a speaker to set the tone for the table conversations. Our speaker this month will be Sierra Visher. She has been working in purpose driven social enterprises and non profits for over 8 years. She has most recently returned to the US after spending several years living in Nairobi, Kenya, helping to start, scale and then manage a national public health program with Deworm the World Initiative. The program successfully dewormed 5.9 million children in the first year of operations, which was a major success for the whole team.
She has prior experience in microfinance, refugee services, and business development programs in Latin America, and East Africa. Despite her love of international development and travel, she is excited to turn her attention to more local issues, and help SVP positively impact the San Diego area, a place she has loved since she received her undergraduate degree from UC San Diego. She later received her Masters of Public Administration degree from NYU.
